Submission of Master's Thesis for the 2024 Spring Semester (Expected Graduation in February 2025)

The submission for Master's thesis for the 2024 Spring semester (expected graduation in February 2025) is now open. Students planning to graduate in February 2025 should submit their thesis within the designated period.

  Period for Submission: September 30, 2024 (Mon) to October 4, 2024 (Fri)

  Required Documents for Submission:

  1. Three copies of the thesis for review.
  2. Master's thesis review form (Attachment ②).
  3. Thesis ethics compliance confirmation form (Attachment ④).
  4. Certificate of completion of research ethics training (Attachment ⑤, refer to the manual).
  5. Payment receipt for thesis review fee.
    • Thesis review fee: 100,000 KRW
    • Payment account: Gwangju Bank 074-107-******, Chonnam National University (Thesis review fee)
    • The payment must be made using the student’s own student ID number.

  Submission to the Department (Major): Departments are required to submit the following documents to the Graduate School by October 8, 2024 (Tue):

  1. Master's thesis review form (Attachment ②).
  2. Thesis review committee recommendation form (Attachment ③).
  3. Thesis ethics compliance confirmation form (Attachment ④).
  4. Certificate of completion of research ethics training (Attachment ⑤, refer to the manual).
  5. Payment receipt for thesis review fee.
  6. List of students submitting their thesis for the 2024 Spring semester (printed from Arsem).
  7. Status report of Master's/Ph.D. thesis review results for the 2024 Spring semester (printed from Arsem).
    • External reviewers must have their affiliation (including department) and bank account information confirmed and entered.

 Note:
   Once the thesis review committee is appointed, the thesis should be sent directly to the reviewers.

 For those who deferred from the 2023 Fall semester (refer to Attachment ⑦): The thesis, documents, and review fee submitted in the previous semester will be considered. After the thesis review is completed, only the review results need to be submitted. If there is a change in reviewers, a formal request to change the reviewers must be submitted. The review fee process will be handled internally within the department.
